“It takes guts to create the life you envision.

Let’s just get that out of the way”

As an actress, I don’t just look the part. I also play it with gusto and passion because my Dominican roots don’t allow me to be any other way. I embrace life with the kind of passion and sabor that comes with being a sassy Latina.

My career has a few fun chapters and plot twists.

  • Become a recording artist. check.
  • Sing live on stages. check.
  • Work on a hit television show. check.
  • Enjoy a passion-driven lifestyle. check.

As much as I LOVE being a performing artist and actress, I can’t express enough how much joy I get from sharing creative lifestyle content geared towards women to realize their joie de vivre potential.

My personal journey has been full of so many life lessons and I have this divine responsibility to share my gifts and knowledge with the world.

Somewhere in between, I spent well over 20 years tracking down my father’s killer. And yet there I was, sitting in the courtroom, watching him face a judge in Miami, FL. Because I believe in honor and I am my father’s daughter. That’s a very long story and when I try to skim over that chapter it comes back to remind me.

We need to do what we want to do in life and go with the twists and turns cause at the end you can still direct your script. The more I avoided doing the things I wanted to do, the more it came back to me.  I was a Pre-Law Student at NYU when I got the chance to take a leave of absence and join a girl band that would have me travel with other amazing ladies.  It is one of my best memories.

I lead with my heart and I follow my intuition because at I came to a few realizations.

I simply COULD NOT live that pestering “WHAT IF” lingering over my life choices. I just couldn’t.

I did not want to be one of those people reminiscing on a life that could have happened if I had only been
bold enough, brave enough and courageous enough
to create the life of my dreams.

I didn’t want the vision of my dream to be saved for a later date.

I had to give that inner spark a chance. The voice that says

“you can and must do this.”

Because I knew that I deserved it.

This is what drives me in everything I do, an undying sense of purpose to help women realize and understand that they too have it in themselves to create the life they deserve.

My self actualization is the reason I’ve been able to reach success and it’s what gave me the tools I needed to start paving a road to a more fulfilling life.

Watching it all come full circle

Change starts with you

I started out wanting to “change the world” and realized that I needed to start with myself first. Taking a leave of absence from NYU scared me but it thrilled me to know I was taking an opportunity to sing. It was one of the best decisions I made in my life.

I was studying for a degree in Political Science and Latin American Studies thinking that a law career would be how I could impact the lives of others. Instead, I discovered that the best way to leave an imprint in the world is by honoring your passion, embracing your gifts and living life to the fullest in the here and now.

In my career I’ve recorded an all Latin Pop CD, joined the Actor’s Union SAG -AFTRA, had my voice on a Grand Theft Auto video (club girl) and worked on my first feature.

When I think back on some of the moments growing up in Uptown, NYC I’m glad I never gave up.

In my free time I like to go to Bikram Yoga, obsess a little bit about Paris, sniff on magic markers (don’t judge!), watch foreign films, and indulge on Youtube cat videos.
